Short Stories by Latin American Women: The Magic and the Real

Short Stories by Latin American Women: The Magic and the Real - Celia Correas De Zapata Solid, no, really good anthology. For no particular reason, it took me a long time to finish this book so the latter half are somewhat clearer in my memory than the first half. There are famous (Isabel Allende, Clarice Lispector) names and not so (at least to me) but as per usual that had little to do with how interesting the stories were. There's not a unifying theme or anything like that but basically if you like the sort of books we publish at Small Beer Press, there's a good chance you're going to like this.
