Just read this for the first time—catching up since there is a big new book, Welcome to Bordertown, which just came out. I can see how this would have just struck like lightning if I'd read it when it came out. It's a bit harder to get into rock-n-roll-god stories now but after the first story (there are only 4 stories in the book), I enjoyed the book a whole lot and am going to add the next book and the new book to the towering stacks of the to-be-read piles.
