This short book has a nice weight to it; more than I'd first supposed when I finished it. I think it is probably worth a re-read as there are strings that run through it that are more obvious once done than while reading. While I enjoyed the weirdness and the floating setup, for me the last third was the best part. Plot? Who cares? It's all about the people and the place.
